Artwork Inspiration:
Kalighat paintings originated in the temple precincts of Kolkata, where artists created expressive, narrative scenes on handmade paper. The artwork begins with delicate black ink sketches, later filled with flat or synthetic colors. Outlines are refined using a traditional bamboo pen, while the minimal background draws attention to the central figure—often inspired by mythology or social themes.
This kettle captures the spirit of Kalighat with its graceful lines and vivid storytelling—an artistic tribute to Bengal’s cultural legacy.
100% of proceeds from this collection will be used to train and empower women through the Indian Army Skill Development Centers.

The kettle was superb as I had seen in the pictures, the detailing and the craft were top notch. My only concern was it arrived very, very late. Almost 2 months since I had ordered it, and I had to call to make sure it hadn't been cancelled.
