Hand-Painted Kettle – Kalighat Art, West Bengal

Desh Ka Garv Collection | Limited Edition | For Decorative Use Only

Tata Tea Premium x Kaushalam

Material - Stainless Steel

Celebrate the bold simplicity of 19th-century Kolkata with this hand-painted decorative kettle inspired by Kalighat Art. Part of the Desh Ka Garv Collection by Kaushalam in collaboration with Tata Tea Premium, this is a special limited edition piece.

Artwork Inspiration:
Kalighat paintings originated in the temple precincts of Kolkata, where artists created expressive, narrative scenes on handmade paper. The artwork begins with delicate black ink sketches, later filled with flat or synthetic colors. Outlines are refined using a traditional bamboo pen, while the minimal background draws attention to the central figure—often inspired by mythology or social themes.

This kettle captures the spirit of Kalighat with its graceful lines and vivid storytelling—an artistic tribute to Bengal’s cultural legacy.

100% of proceeds from this collection will be used to train and empower women through the Indian Army Skill Development Centers.

While I am very happy with the product the experience was not great. For 3-4 days there was no update on the status of delivery and there was no tracking mechanism available. I had to make posts in social media which was never responded to, I searched the number of a personnel from the website and sent watsapp messages and had to follow up. A tracking mechanism and delivery date is the bare minimum I expected.

Great piece of art. Very attractive and truly represents the regional art forms of India. Only thing is the size could be bigger.
